I’ll send you a link to an online proofing gallery within a week, which is a lightly edited, curated gallery for you to pick your favourite pics from.

Once you’ve decided on your favourite pics (or upgraded your gallery.. no pressure!), I’ll get to finalising the edits. Usually done within 2 – 3 weeks from when you pick your images!

I’m bright, bold and love colour and my photos reflect that. I LOVE nature, so outdoor shoots will always include some Pilbara landscape.

There’s a time and place for posed photos, but my favourite moments to capture are the genuine ones. The moments showing your connection with your loved ones – whether that’s playing with your kids, laughing with your partner or feeling empowered AF during a solo photoshoot. The candid moments sometimes come with messy hair, double chins and laugh lines, but I promise these are the ones you and your loved ones will look back on in years with the greatest of memories.

That being said, there’s definitely still a place for posed photos. Using your best angles, smiling and utilising only one chin. So I love to get a mixture of both. At the end of the day, these are your photos so you can tell me what you prefer.

There’s no hard and fast rule for this. Ideally, from 28 – 34 weeks, but I have photographed beautiful bellies from 17 weeks up to 39 weeks!

Ideally, you want to be big enough to have a sizable bump, but don’t want to be uncomfortably large or leave it too close to when you pop!

The short answer: whatever you feel comfortable in!

Neutral, earthy-toned, flowy dresses photograph beautifully… but not everyone is a neutral or beige girly, and not everyone loves wearing dresses. My own wardrobe is full of bright colours and honestly looks like a clown exploded in it, so trust me: personality matters more than a colour chart.

Wear something that makes you feel confident, reflects who you are, and lets you move comfortably.

If you’re booking family photos, start with Mum’s outfit first and build everyone else’s look around that.

I also have a client closet for women and will give you guidance and styling advice to help you choose the perfect outfits for your session.

I do have a client wardrobe, mostly with maternity pieces and newborn onesies, wraps and blankets!

You are welcome to try and borrow anything you like!

Same! I’m awkward AF in front of the camera. It can feel a little uncomfortable for the first few mins having a stranger in your face with a big lens, but that icky feeling goes away so quick.

I love play based prompts for the kids and have extensive experience wrangling my own collection of kids. Everyone always says at the end of the shoot that they were surprised how comfortable they were!

For a maternity/couple shoot with 2 people I allow 45 – 60 mins. If you want a costume change, it will be closer to 60 mins.

For a family shoot, there are more moving parts and people to co-ordinate, so allow for 60 mins.

For a newborn shoot, allow up to 90 mins. This gives plenty of time for feeding, settling, and costume changes in case of poo-explosions (IYKYK)

Although if the light is amazing, everyone is in a good mood and not in a rush, I’ve been known to extend sessions for “one more pic” many times.

Sh!t happens, I get it. I’m generally a pretty flexible person so will allow one reschedule. If you need to reschedule, just give me as much notice as possible (min 8 hrs) and we’ll find another date. If you decide to cancel your shoot all together, the non-refundable deposit (as the name suggests) is non-refundable.

There may be reasons that I will need to reschedule or suggest another day – if it’s super windy or pissing down rain (a novelty in the Pilbara!). Or if I’m sick, or have even the smallest inkling that I might have the sniffles, I will contact you to rebook.
